Lake Day

Yesterday I saw two Barred Owls. The female is the same as the male except the female is a little bit bigger. They will not come on seed feeders. They only eat small animals. When they fly they don’t make any noise. I saw one fly yesterday. I think the Barred Owl has a flat face like it fell on its face. I think they are really cool. Especially the babies are cute.

 I took this picture of one of the owls yesterday.

You will also find Blue Herons close to the lake. I took a picture of this one yesterday. I like the feathers coming out of its chest.

    Abigail, you are really living up to your Bird Nerd Girl moniker. We will have to go out on a bird trip sometimes.
